Basic bones of a human seen from the front.

The image is quite long and thus use requires either at least 800 vertical pixels or the answer overlay functionality in Mnemosyne 1.0.2.

These are my revision questions for the UK final MBBS. They will eventually cover all that is needed for the final MBBS examinations as well as other interesting or useful information I've gleaned along the way. At present there are nearly 2000 questions.

  • Description:

Spanish Vocabulary contains 2,899 cards comprising a basic set of Spanish words, mostly from my textbook, Practical Spanish Grammar, Second Edition, by Marcial Prado. Other words are from the Harper Collins Spanish Concise Dictionary, Second Edition. The total number of words in the vocabulary is about 1,400.

Most cards (nearly all) have English on one side and Spanish on the other.

  • Description:

This set of cards contains maps of most of the countries in Europe.

See the included readme.txt for installation instructions and notes on countries included and excluded.

  • Description:

This deck presents the Ten Commandments in an Augustinian account.

  • Description:

This deck teaches what each day of obligation commemorates and when each day occurs. I am not Catholic, so please excuse any misinterpretations or inaccuracies I may have made.

  • Description:

If you are applying to the 6 year medical school program at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, in Prague, this set of 470 flashcards will probably be helpful. It covers almost all of the physics and chemistry topics but only about 40% of the biology topics.

I also included the Microsoft One Note files that I used to initially create the study materials.

It might also be useful for people just wanting to brush up on some basic high school / early college level physics and chemistry.

    1. Make sure you have Mnemosyne installed: http://www.mnemosyne-proj.org/index.php

    2. Unzip the contents of this archive to your ".mnemosyne" directory. On my Windows XP installation, that directory is in this location... C:\Documents and Settings\(my username)\.mnemosyne\

    3. Make sure that you uncompressed the archive correctly by ensuring that the image files (a1.png, b2.png, etc) are now located in your ".mnemosyne\braille\" directory.

  • Description:

Japanese prefectures (47), names in kanji, hiragana and English.

    Installation:
Unzip to your .mnemosyne directory (C:\Documents and Settings\(my username)\.mnemosyne\), you should end up with \maps\Prefectures_of_Japan folder and there should be Japanese_prefectures.xml file inside that folder.

Now open your Mnemosyne and select File -> import -> XML and select the Japanese_prefectures.xml file inside that folder. I reset the learning data when I exported the package, but you might want to select the "Reset learning data on import" just in case.
